This week: still working on a full and accurate database of the regular hauled passenger turns from 1985.
(To be used to auto fill missing headcodes in Timewarp data & and to auto weed out inaccurate entries within our data.)
Updated this week : Further long overdue updates of Classic service listings from 1984 & 1985.
1E08 13:25 SUN Weston-Super-Mare - York from the summer of 1984 & the equivilent the following year
1E08 13:15 SUN Weston-Super-Mare - York from the summer with the winter equivelant service
1E08 16:16 SUN Birmingham New Street - York (via Leeds) from from Autumn 1985 .
1E08 was a popular turn to cover when seeking non-ETS haulage during the early 1980's as a look at the summer listing from summer '84 will reveal that after an initial flurry of eh locos they became the exception. normal service continued into the Autumn months, but come December and it seamed that 'Control' would roster the smaller and less powerful type twos of the 31/4 sub class rather than a none ETS loco. Look how much less 'rateable' the motive power was during the summer of 1985... how quickly it all went off...
Also updated : From 1977 : 1E83 0810 Derby - Yarmouth & 1M37 1430 Yarmouth - Derby to/from Norwich .
And prompted by last weeks update, from 1985 :
1M88 06:25 SX / 06:33 SO Poole - Manchester Piccadilly & 1V16 17:25 Manchester Piccadilly - London Paddington return, more gen added..
