The 1980's Timewarp site is dedicated to a time when
it was still possible to travel all over the British Railway network on
traditional locomotive hauled passenger trains behind a wide variety of
real
locomotives.

Preserving the gen since 1999 and, with
thanks to your contributions, to date there are now over a quarter of a
million BR passenger workings in the Timewarp database, at present
covering the years 1975-1989, but with the emphasis clearly focused on
the 1980's.

...with a lot of behind the scenes work for this
site required preparing the updates, I'm currently looking at updates
as and when...
Timewarp is still being worked on and will be for the foreseeable future...
Updates are currently not practical every single week as was for so long the case (10+ years)...
This site / page was last updated on : 04-05-2012.
The bigger the databases that we use to
update this website gets, the more time it takes to cross check all the
new info that we add to it!
The more workings that we add to the System, the more Conflicts and discrepancies we get, all of which take time to look into.
This site is clearly meant to be a reference work, so it really needs to be as accurate as possible, so of late I've been
looking into various discrepancies that have come to light, and over the last couple of weeks
a few dozen more are now either removed or corrected on various pages across the site.
The Conflicting Reports page as again been updated.
And why not take a look at Info Required as you may have the missing piece of info that provides a definitive ANSWER .
