This site is dedicated to a time when it was still possible to travel all over the British Railway network on traditional locomotive hauled passenger trains behind a wide variety of real locomotives.

As a direct result of unforeseen 'Technical difficulties' , we have decided to bite the bullet and give this site the much needed
and long promised redesign that we feel it sorely needs. Updates may be less regular for the rest of the summer as a result,
but, come this Autumn we should be even bigger and better that ever...

This week's mini update is, as much as anything, intended to show regular visitors and contributors that
something is still actually happening on here...
NEW SERVICE listing added to CLASSIC HAULAGE manu.
1Z83 1205/1212 Bristol Temple Meads / 1350 Birmingham New Street - Edinburgh Waverley (or Glasgow Central) Additional from 1984 in a new style.
Also updated   Info Required   a page updated in the old Timewarp style.
Contrast and compare both the old and new styles... and your comments are welcome.

If you've already sent 'Gen' and you're wondering where it's got to - please note that this site is very time consuming, so please be patient, it all makes it onto the site in the end!
