First of an occasional series of photos that look (almost) as if taken somewhere back in the 1980's, but have in fact been taken
more recently.

Restored to BR Blue, until recently 37308 was a part of the so called
EWS 'heritage' fleet. In mid-March this year
308 was transfered into the WKAK pool based at Old Oak Common for use
in East Anglian and the south.
Who would have thought that as late as 5th April 2002 you could get
a photo of two, BR blue liveried 37's.
37116 is the 2nd loco and the location of the shot, Eastleigh.
