40033 worked the 1M59 0908 Scarborough - Llandudno to Staylebridge then
failed.
25173 came to assist, but also failed, at Warrington Bank Quay where
40140 was attached.
Here we see all three locos at the head of the 1M59 service arriving
at Chester, Saturday 31st May 1981.
