Below, a selection of gen, moves and anecdotes from the day in question...

Will D. Downing logged the following...
"I spent the last week of June 1985 commuting from Long Buckby to Euston and, armed with a week-long All-Zone Capitalcard, doing the complete London Underground. This was back in the days when the Jubilee line ended at Charing Cross, and there was only one station at Heathrow; also, I managed do the erstwhile Epping-0ngar & Holborn-Aldwych branches. But by Thursday, all those tube lines were making me claustrophobic, so I spent Friday 28th as follows:

"Looking through 'Genesis' my haulage database and doing a bit of number crunching, I can safely say that for lines in the book
the weekend of Friday/Saturday June 28/29th 1985 was my most (?) successful ever. Scratch fever really took hold. Out of 22 loco
  haulage's in two days I managed to score 14?  Variety was also evident...  with classes 31, 37, 45/0, 45/1, 47/0, 47/3, 47/4 and 85.
Don't laugh too hard at the obligatory 'ned' Birmingham International fill in/spin/desperate scratch/boredom moves... that's how
most of us got so many lines in the book! I remember Maglev being the fill in, fill in move whilst at International.... only one time
to be stuck at the Airport only to see a Crompton pull in on a late running Poole train! BOWLED. But I digress...... I'd done Hoovers
pretty solidly up to around 85 so I then tried(?) concentrating on the scratches... in hindsight leaving it too late for many of the big
little engines.... if you know what I mean.  I should have done it the other way round. Of the weekend in focus, 47091 was pretty
hell on the 1246FO (Didn't this used to run fast from Oxford or Banbury to New St.?) 37135 was like a zoo with several areas?
road-shows producing for the fairly regular hellfire 1420 relief. I don't list Tram or Unit haulage's... but I did a tram?up-to New
St for the ned Cov move as we had been quoted required 47069... for another tram down the bank for the fester for S19... spent in
the pub opposite the station. Then followed the Friday night NESW overnights.. duff 237 being flipping freezing. Three big threes
on the Saturday and serious fatigue and rover brain saw me and Glyn 'Big Duff' Wade make an earlier than usual exit by way of
a Tram from Cheltenham to Derby. 909.50 off real trains.... not bad considering some of the ned leaps.?  On the Sunday I scored
  47278 too! Greedy."
