Q. Can you help identify the services depicted in these pictures ?

Q. Brian Lynn writes..."Having dabbled with bashing during the summers of 84/5,  but been distracted by other attractions like
beer, football, work etc.  I clocked up 80ish tractors and various other assorted stuff so was only really an amateur.   I'm
interested to know who the real gurus are out there, what classes they concentrated on, and how many they actually managed
            to bag?"

Q. 'Spanner' wrote..."Perhaps someone could fill in one gap in my moves book?

The date was September 5th 1981.

1A25 09.35 Glasgow Queen Street - Aberdeen.  I did this Stirling to Perth, and there was a 25 and a 47 on the front, but
I don't know which they were or which was powering!

1N21 09.38 Edinburgh - Inverness.  I did this Perth to Aviemore and know it was a 47 but don't know which.  If it's any help
(diagrammed return working?) 47207 later did 1T43 15.05 Inverness - Glasgow,  which I did Aviemore to Stirling.

If anyone out there can help, I'd be most appreciative!"

Q.    Mark Grainger asks..."Hopefully someone  will be able to help me on a query I have regarding an excursion I travelled on in
the early  80's.  A local Midlands Sunday paper (Sunday Mercury) used to run a train each year to various destinations
throughout the country.  On this particular train, a member of the old "Crossroads" soap apperared on this train, namely
Lynette Mcmorrogh aka "Glenda".  I was wondering if amyone could shed some light on this train, which was 45064 from
Wolverhampton to Scarborough and return, date unknown but was early 80's."
