Spent so much time
editing and importing a mass of gen new from 1988, much of which we've
had on file for some time (because we knew it would be awkward
and difficult to process), which left not enough time to update any pages... 30 plus hours spent on the site this week and nothing to show for it..

This weeks update may not seem like much, but once again there is more going on behind the scenes...
Where Were You page for 12th July 1980 now covers the whole weekend 11th -14th July 1980 .
Additional info for a couple of the Questions WITH Answers and you could always take another look at the Info Required page.
SITE NEWS : One of the reasons many behind delays to info we've received
appearing online is that we often have to add many missing headcodes or
check those provided.
It should be possible to automate this process, but it is not as straight forward to carry out as it could be.
First, we need to 'Normalise' all the new data that we receive... well
the good news is that we finally have a process in place to do just that.
With data 'Normalised', in order to automatically fill in missing
headcodes we need a database filled with acurate service details
for each year covered by the site.
At the moment, we are working on a database of 1988 services, as this is year
for which we have a large mass of new gen, but mostly it's minus headcodes...

Diary page updates continue : another 400+ workings added across January , February , March , April , May & June 1983.
Plus the usual small crop of minor amendments and corrections etc.

Slow but steady progress updating Diary pages : another 200+ workings this time spread across October 1983 plus January & February 1984 .
Many more workings have been added to 'the System' for future updates.
NEW : Where Were You page for Saturday 12th May 1984 while Weekend 28th & 29th June 1985 is updated.

This week's update is concentrated upon the Where Were You section of the site, which is now combined with the disbanded Hellfire Day's section.
