The Crompton's

The Class 33's were the dominant motive power type on services over the Cardiff - Bristol TM - Portsmouth route between May 1980
and May 1988.  On this page are a selection of known Class 33 workings during that period.  Other locomotive types also worked over this
route, especially between Cardiff and Bristol TM during this period. Visit the Diary pages for details of those turns where known.
More Crompton gen or other rateable workings from this route always welcome.

Due to a shortage of time, these pages have not received regular updates in recent months and Crompton workings have been added to
the Diary pages .  To make this site easier to maintain, and allow for more frequent updates, Crompton workings will be rearranged, as time
allows, into date order with links to new pages added here until this process is completed.
