Grantham - Skegness Relief's

Due to severe overcrowding of services over the Grantham - Skegness route during the summer of 1987, it was found necessary to provide a pair of relief's each summer Saturday.  A spare set of stock was found and thanks to the regular
use of  a Locomotive off a Doncaster Freight diagram this turn became very popular with locomotive enthusiasts.

Timings approx.  09:55 and 14:10 off Grantham and 12:10 and 16:10 ex Skegness.  Info received indicates exact times
and reporting codes may have varied slightly from week to week so any clarification would be welcomed for future inclusion..

9.  37209 was believed to have been allocated to work the turn, but then failed before departure and the turn was caped.
